Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used and the choices available to you.
Who we are
This website is operated by Silk Prosperity Glorious Property Holdings Limited (Business Registration BRN 72720765), No. 5, 17/F., Strand 50, 50 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. The company is part of CGPH Group. For any question relating to this policy or to the information described below, write to info@cgph.info.
Information this website collects
This is an informational corporate website. It has no user accounts, no login and no advertising. In normal use it collects the following only:
- Your cookie choice. When you accept, reject or save preferences in the cookie banner, a single record of that choice is stored locally in your browser. It is not transmitted to us.
- Information you send us. If you write to the email address published on this site, we receive the contents of your message and any details you choose to include, such as your name, email address, telephone number and organisation.
The enquiry form on this website is a front-end preview and is not connected to any mail or storage service. Nothing entered into it is transmitted or retained by us; the anti-spam checks it performs run entirely inside your browser.
Cookies and similar technologies
No analytics, advertising, profiling or third-party tracking scripts are loaded on this website. The only technology of this kind in use is strictly necessary local storage that remembers your cookie choice so the banner is not shown again on every visit. That record expires after twelve months, after which you will be asked again.
The optional analytics toggle in the cookie banner is off by default and no analytics are loaded even when it is switched on. It exists so that, if measurement is introduced in future, it will run only with your prior consent. You can review or change your choice at any time through the “Privacy & cookie settings” link at the foot of every page, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Fonts on this website are requested from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which necessarily receive your IP address and basic request information. No cookie is set by this website for that purpose.
How we use information you send us
Correspondence you send is used solely to read, assess and respond to your message, to maintain a record of our exchanges and to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for marketing to individuals who have not asked to hear from us.
Disclosure
Information may be shared with other entities within CGPH Group where relevant to your enquiry, and with professional advisers or service providers acting on our behalf under a duty of confidentiality. It may also be disclosed where required by law, regulation or a competent authority.
Retention
Correspondence is kept only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, and for any further period required to satisfy legal, regulatory or record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. The local cookie record expires after twelve months.
Security
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information in our possession against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure; email in particular is not a secure channel, and we ask that confidential or sensitive material is not sent to us by unsecured email without prior arrangement.
Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to request a copy of that data and to request correction of data that is inaccurate. Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to a particular exchange, you may additionally have rights of erasure, restriction, objection and data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a concern about how your information has been handled, write to info@cgph.info. We may need to verify your identity before responding. A reasonable fee may be charged for a data access request where permitted by law.
